Community Guidelines

What is SalesGuys community?

It is a networking platform created exclusively for Salespeople. They can be a member of this platform through a signup process and currently, the sign-ups are enabled only through invitations from existing members of the platform.  All the members on the platform together are referred to as the Salesguys community. The guidelines mentioned here are the light for the community on the responsibility of each and every member for the safety of the community and of the platform.

How does it work?

Upon creating an account for themselves , Salespeople can update their profile details to be visible for other Salespeople who may want to  connect with them and build relationships. Members can seek career guidance, post / view internal job references posted by other members, ask for tips to enhance their Sales skills via forum Q &As , share & exchange knowledge on best Sales practices and many more benefits can be achieved. The platform is currently available as a web app and soon will be made available in mobile app and PWA formats  too.

Fundamental responsibility of community –

This platform/site is built exclusively for Salespeople. Hence, the scope of membership is exclusive to salespeople only. Any member sending membership invitations must adhere to this core guideline .This is an undeniable responsibility of each and every member for the benefit of the community and for sanity of the platform.

The platform would adopt a mechanism to verify the invitations and hold the right to take action on member accounts that are found to be not meeting this guideline.

What is expected from members?

Dos –

• Sanity – Maintain sanity in member invitations as it is the utmost responsibility of every member on SalesGuys.in
• Relevant content  –  Be it activity Posts, videos or Q&A, every form of content posted should be of relevance to Sales people and is in the benefit of the community
• TRuth – Be it the identity of a member or the activity they engage in,everything must be true and authentic
• Polite & kindness – Respect the views of other members and be polite in your communication or comments across the platform.
• Privacy & Integrity –  The content shared by members on salesguys.in or the contributors from the platform is purely for the consumption of the community and we expect integrity to be maintained here.

Don’ts –

• Unauthorised content – Member privacy is an obligation to every member in the  community, so refrain from sharing any content posted in salesguys.in to outside social media or networks unless authorised by salesguys.in
• No Advertising or marketing by members – Members should refrain from using this platform as their advertising space or marketing or sales channel. The platform should be used only for the purposes mentioned earlier in this document. The platform reserves the right to take action on accounts violating this guideline.
• Unsafe practices – Stay away from hate, harmful , harass, obscene , bullying material that could threaten one’s identity, promote violence, or engage in unwanted advances against any of the members
• Harmful content – Refrain from posting links or content or code that distribute spam, viruses or malware, etc. 
• No wrong access – Attempting unauthorised access to any of Salesguys.in services or content beyond what is provisioned for the user via the  web application interface is considered as an offence and the same would be dealt with strictly.
• No Scams or phishing on the site please
