We obtain data necessary to provide our services.  For example, When a user registers their account with us either through signup forms on our application or through third party social sign ups like gmail, facebook,etc, we collect information like Name, email ID, gender, city, etc. Users may have the option not to provide some data, however, this would make our services unavailable partially or totally for them on the platform. 

The data we collect depends on the context of your interactions with SalesGuys, the choices you make (including your privacy settings available under user profile), and the Services you use.

How do we store and protect your data?

SalesGuys is hosted on wordpress.com who is responsible for a variety of measures to ensure that our processing systems remain confidential, resilient, and available. Also ensures business continuity and disaster recovery.

How long do we retain your data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Security and Protection of Personally Identifying Information –

We have implemented reasonable security measures and practices in an effort to protect the confidentiality of your Personally Identifying Information (other than Personally Identifying Information that you have elected to disclose to others). However, no security system is impenetrable. It may be possible for third parties to intercept or access the information you provide to SalesGuys. SalesGuys relies on third party vendors and service providers to provide support and assistance for its products, services, and events (“Service Providers”). We may disclose your Information (including Personally Identifying Information) with your consent, or as necessary to these Service providers to the extent necessary to support our products, services, events,etc. For example, comments and posts may be checked through an automated spam detection service. By visiting, accessing, attending or using SalesGuys’s products, services or events, you consent to the disclosure of your Information to certain categories of third parties in the manner described below. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the policies or practices of any of these third parties.

Web Hosts

SalesGuys web application services are hosted by WordPress.com, an enterprise web hosting platform. All Information obtained and stored by SalesGuys’s websites, web apps is processed and stored on servers that are owned and operated by WordPress.com.

Third Party Websites

SalesGuys may offer the ability to share content on Third Party Websites, including social networking and blogging services such as Twitter or Facebook, through “plugins” or “widgets” (such as Twitter’s “tweet” button or Facebook’s “Like” button). When you elect to share content and information with others on Third Party Websites, SalesGuys may transmit your Information (including Personally Identifying Information) to such Third Party Websites. The availability and confidentiality of such information shared on third party websites is solely at the discretion of third party websites and SalesGuys is not responsible for the privacy policies of third party websites.You can visit the third party websites’ privacy policy for detailed information and for applying your preferences.

URL/Referrer Header Information

When you visit SalesGuys web or mobile apps, certain information about the content or activities you have engaged in on SalesGuys may be reflected in the Uniform Resource Locator (“URL”) for the page you are viewing on SalesGuys (i.e., the Internet “address,” commonly displayed in the browser window). For example, the date or title of an article you are viewing may appear in the URL for that page. In addition, if you are logged into a SalesGuys account, certain account information (may be visible in the URL when you visit your account on SalesGuys. Remember, If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

Articles on SalesGuys may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, links, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Email or Text Message Communications –

We may contact you by e-mail, or other equivalent electronic communications if you access SalesGuys products or services. By visiting or using SalesGuys content, products or services, you specifically consent to the receipt of these e-mails. If you do not want to receive emails, or other communications from us, please notify us by email at  sgcare@salesguys.in and include sufficient information for us to identify your account, including your Name, Email Address and the specifics of your request. Privacy Policy &  Changes –

SalesGuys retains the discretion to amend or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use and disclosure of Information we obtain is subject to the later of: (1) the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such Information is collected or (2) any subsequent Privacy Policy of which you have notice. If we make material changes to the way we collect, use or disclose Personally Identifying Information, we will notify you by posting a clear and prominent announcement on SalesGuys or through a direct communication.
